I Was Feeling Good About Myself...

until the following conversation with my husband

ME: "Hey, I went to the obgyn today and I didn't gain one pound in the last week!!!" (FYI: at my last appointment I had gained SIX pounds in a week...not pretty).

HUSBAND: "Well...you certainly didn't LOSE any weight either..."

This is the thanks I get for carrying his child. Sheesh.

Comments:
OUCH!!! Nice husband. If only he could push out a child?!

ALERT TO WARRIORS: SW is as concered about her weight as Irene is about her cleavage. Although about to deliver, SW has maintained the state of SKINNY. SW pregnant simply appears as though she just consumed a meatball while watching the SOPRANOS.

What kind of weird childhoods did you and Irene have to be so obsessed with weight and shape? Or was it those years at JMU together?

An image consultant could instruct you on how to carry that extra weight off better. It's all about the colors you drape yourself in.

Ouch, Irene. That extra weight is called "your godchild". Keep it up and you can be replaced...

How much "sympathy" weight has Mr. Warrior gained this pregnancy?

Husbands need to keep their big "pie holes" closed until they have given birth! Mush is correct, SW does look skinny and appears to have swallowed a meatball, however, it was definitely a large meatball!! Love, your birth coach.

We are all looking forward to the wonderful miracle of birth. I'm sure the pain of birth will be a distant memory after the joy of seeing you new born child. I'm sure your husband should share your pain if he could.

Not a sermon, just a thought.

Twinkle Toes, are you a Lon Solomon listener?

SW - I suggest you promptly take off the Irene's Scene link. Did you see the stuff she said about the "Plain Janes"? The blood of sisterhood is obviously running a little thin through Irene's cold, cold veins. I'm thinking about starting a web campaign to boycott Irene's little scene. She's obviously more concerned these days with her looks then with basic human kindness and goodness. a jane

Irene's blog is a hoot! What's the matter with you, Jane? Maybe you should start drinking again and chill out.
